My name is Rachel Tindal and I'm a licensed wildlife rehabilitator in the state of NY. I help orphaned and injured wildlife in the Greater Rochester Area. I named my rescue after 2 of the first squirrels I rescued, Chip & Chloe. I now specialize in grey, red and flying squirrels but I've also helped mice, voles, chipmunks and rabbits.

I've always been an animal lover and would rescue animals even as a young child. I rehabilitated my first orphaned squirrel back in 2006 when I unexpectedly found him in the middle of a busy city street. Over the years to follow, I continued learning about how to rescue wildlife and finally obtained my licensed in 2018.  Since then I have continued to rehabilitate wildlife with the goal of releasing them back to the wild. This is not a paid job, it's something I do in addition to working part-time and caring for my regular family responsibilities.
